Selected as a Super Lawyer

The Martindale-Hubbell Directory is a widely recognized nationwide service which assembles data on and reports the reputation of attorneys from the United States and other countries.

Selected as one of "Houston's Top Lawyers"
Bain Pearson and Jim Pearson have been selected as "Houston's Top Lawyers" by H Texas Magazine for 2007 and 2008.
Each fall, H Texas Magazine delivers nearly 10,000 ballots to the lawyers in the Houston area. H Texas asks them to select and vote for one of their colleagues that they have seen in action. They also invite readers to take part by voting online and through fax. Responses have been outstanding; a plethora of votes inundated the mailboxes, fax machine and e-mail box of H Texas Magazine.
H Texas counted all the votes and separated them by field of practice. The top vote-getters were screened through the H Texas database, and all credentials were verified. H Texas contacted the State Bar of Texas to authenticate candidates’ profiles and to confirm that they had no outstanding disciplinary actions and were qualified to practice law…
So if you are searching for a top lawyer, be certain that those included on this list will lend you a helping hand. But if you see them on the opposite side of the courtroom-watch out.

Some Significant Past Projects
From 1997 until 2006 our law firm interviewed and/or screened over 3,500+ men and women regarding injuries sustained from their use of Fen-Phen ("Diet Drug"). We provided advice, gave information, and gathered prescription and medical records to develop cases for these clients. We assisted in the prosecution of hundreds of cases to a successful conclusion. We are happy to provide you that kind of one-on-one help and assistance.
From 1993 until 2001, our law firm reviewed more than 3,500 cases regarding injuries from defective Breast Implants. Most of the cases we accepted dealt with a specific sub-set of breast implants which caused unique injuries to those women. We assisted in the prosecution of hundreds of these cases to a successful completion.
From 1992 until the present, our law firm has handled thousands of Commercial Litigation cases. We have prosecuted and defended offensive and/or defensive litigation in the areas of banks, bankruptcy, collections, lender liability, oil and gas, collections, and related cases. We routinely provide information and advice in these areas, with no obligation.
